Description
The 190E 2.3-16 was Mercedes putting down a marker. Its 16-valve head was developed by Cosworth, three cars set 12 endurance records at Nardò in 1983, and Ayrton Senna won the 1984 Nürburgring Race of Champions in one. Built for touring car racing, it went on to take on the BMW M3.
