Description
At Le Mans in 1970 Porsche's new chief designer, Anatole Lapine, sent out a long-tail 917 covered in psychedelic purple and green waves, painted with around 1,500 spray cans. The paddock called it the Hippie.
Gérard Larrousse and Willi Kauhsen drove it to second overall as Porsche filled the podium. Our original logo takes those waves and redraws them in blue and green.
Part of the Clubman range. Our usual ranges use premium garments, which means they aren't affordable for everyone. The Clubman range, named after entry-level motorsport, keeps the design and prints it on a lighter 180gsm AWDis tee for £20. Available in black or white, with the logo drawn for each so the shirt colour becomes part of the design.
