Description
In 1988 the purple and white Jaguar XJR-9 won Le Mans with Jan Lammers, Johnny Dumfries and Andy Wallace. It was Jaguar's first win there since 1957 and ended Porsche's run of seven straight victories.
Its 7.0-litre V12 was developed from the XJ-S road car engine, and the XJR-9 won six of the eleven World Sports Prototype Championship rounds that year. Our original logo in purple and gold, matching our Purple Le Mans sticker.
Part of the Clubman range. Our usual ranges use premium garments, which means they aren't affordable for everyone. The Clubman range, named after entry-level motorsport, keeps the design and prints it on a lighter 180gsm AWDis tee for £20. Available in black or white, with the logo drawn for each so the shirt colour becomes part of the design.
